With version 2.0, the Presstimator's functionality has been expanded to include many features requested by both newspapers and commercial web offset printers.
A new Budgeted Hourly Rates (BHR) module is now available in version 2.0 to help estimators establish hourly rates based on their printshop's administrative and factory overhead costs. Accurate Budgeted Hourly Rates reflect a recovery of the true costs of doing business and companies can be assured of maintaining a profitable course once the exact sources of the organization's operational costs are calculated. Using the calculated Presstimator BHRs in the Shop Settings of the Presstimator will ensure that accurate standards are being applied for all generated estimates.
In addition to calculating an Add'l M's price, version 2.0 of the Presstimator now also handles Multiple Quantities within a single estimate. At any time within a quote, the user can enter up to five additional quantities in Quick View to instantly see the selling price for a variety of quantities. These multiple quantities can also be included on generated customer reports.
